are permissions different vista sharing

Are permissions different in Vista for sharing?

I told the sharing thing to give access to files and folders to anyone who could access my network. I also set them co-owner. I've verified the security as full control for everyone. I can browse to the public share from my XP box, but I can't write to the folder. Any thoughts on why?

The everyone group is apparently broken right now...try this page to see if it helps http://www.vistabase.co.uk/welcome.php?subcats/settings/everyonesharing
Thank Zack for the site

Thats too bad the fix is only going to technical testers. Having a mass amoutn of people try a beta is nice..but only passing out fixes to a small group is pointless.

especially when it seems that work around doesn't work. I did both of those things and I still can't write to my shared folder. Oh well, the Vista one can at least copy out of the shared folder off the XP machine
